Not until I search for it in wikipedia that I found out that this film is really old! It was premiered in NewDelhi in 1982, starring Ben Kingsley as Mohandas Gandhi, the non violent leader.
Well, I had previously heard the name, even read some of the quotes by him but it was not until after I watch this movie that I know what is the story behind this face.
Actually I don’t intend to review much about this movie here. All I got to say that the movie, even thou quite lengthy (a stretch of 2 hours plus) but it is definitely a must-watch. It gives you an idea of what he has in mind and how he executed it, in the most different and special way. A good historical film that would certainly open your eyes and look at India in a different way!
