Sorry, it was a scam. Basically this is what I get everyday in my junk mails!

There is no doubt that in today’s society, various methods are there to cheat people out of their money, be it online or in the real world. It is important for the consumers like us to be aware of such scams and know where to look for help when such things happen to us.

Since entering the blogging world, my email address had been constantly receiving spam mails, mails related to some money scams and investment scams. Well, I didn’t pay much attention to them because I do not have such big amount of money to invest in the first place and hitting the jack pot doesn’t really sound logic to me.

So, in order to help more people to be aware of these scams which is getting more and more serious today, it is important to know how to report fraud. Here, you can get information on how to be careful of certain type of scams, find out how to report frauds and you can even share your story and help in creating more awareness about scams in the society!

My personal favorite is the travel scams featured in this site. When I read through the published article, I can’t help to agree how true it is, especially when I think back on my travel to India. Some tourist sites like the Taj Mahal in Agar is just so full of people who earn from tourist. Not to mention that I was scammed by the taxi driver!
