Hi, today I’m going to introduce you all my new idol - Sungha Jung! I think he is only 13, what’s so special about him is that he is born with big talent.
Another 300 years to play like him. And his guitar is signed by Thomas Leeb! You know who is Thomas Leeb? Go google it. Haha. Man, even in my dream I wouldn’t dream of playing the guitar like he did. He is officially labeled insane by me.
Anyway, holiday is relaxing. Hehe. A bit of this and that. I don’t really have the CNY mood anyway but hey, for those who are celebrating it, be happy! I wish the next CNY will come pretty fast and before I know it, I’ll be back at home eating homemade cookies.

Nothing’s gonna change my love for you by Glenn Meideros, arranged by unknown. I think I’ll attempt some 5 minutes song from now on so it will seriously take some time for me to post another video. Maybe…
I gotta say I adore japanese guitar solos. Their skills on electric guitar is superb and the way they compose the acoustic pieces are brilliant. I think musician are kinda genius actually. To come out with something on those limited notes, 6 strings and 2 hands, yet the sound that comes out can bring different emotion. Respect. Some people prefer to strum, some people prefer to pluck. It is just like how a human reflects their character, preferring to be cool, fast and furious, or precise and careful. And those are not the only way to play the instrument, percuss, hammer and blablabla.. Go watch August Rush or this and you will know what I mean. The fingers are like swords. LOL.
Luckily in this world there is something called guitar.

Had been playing this tune for a while and I think I figured out how to play it properly instead of stopping here and there. I must have played this 100 times when I’m bored with my books. I still believe this is best played on acoustic guitar. Maybe will record this again and again until I get a perfect one. Haha. Thanx for viewing!

Despite the weird title of being a song, it is definitely cool to master.
This video is my very raw production of my attempt :P
Sorry for publishing it late here. Those with me in facebook might had watched it already. I guess I’m hooked with Toshiro Masuda’s music. Only Japanese can come up with this kind of tune and speed. Haha. Was seriously struggling by the end of the video as my hands are getting tired. Enjoy!
I don’t know how new is this but I just got to find out on the net that Amateur Transplants had come out with a new album!!! This is the band that I like to listen to besides all my everyday alternative rock dose. If you are a medical student, I don’t see why you don’t like this band!
The previous album Fitness To Practise had been on my Ipod playlist all the time. Those hits like Final Countdowns, Dorsal Horn Concerto and Eternal Clerking are so funny that it is almost like the brand song for med student. And of course The Drug Song as well.
Okay, now I’m going to introduce Amateur Transplants : Unfit For Practise!
It is already playing in my WMP now. Haha! The song is marvelous!!! The album consists of new and old songs at the same time. A rock version of London Underground, the infamous Anaesthetist’s Hymn.
New songs like Finals Fantasy sings about a bad student answering for his clinical exams! I’ll just quote some of the lyrics and down there is the video in Youtube.
Everybody tells me I’ll pass easily,
I’ve been working hard for so long,
But they didn’t realize my exam techniques,
guaranteeing something will go wrong….
I answer all the written papers easily,
But the clinical wouldn’t be so fine
I get so nervous I just can’t perform
Okay come in candidate 6079, tell me,
What do you see?
I don’t know..
Look at his knee..
I don’t know
What does this scar means?
I really don’t know…
All my knowledge seems to have deserted me
Let me give you this, what do you see?
This is Xray showing Crohn’s disease
No it’s not it’s called an ECG…
LOL, if you want to see all these lyrics sang out by 2 of the famous doctors from UK, you know what to do! By the way, I guess the new songs are in the Youtube as well. I don’t know, how can they sing such bad things but yet when I listen to them I’m so happy! Maybe I’m going crazy soon? Try the song ‘King of Dead’ and I bet you will laugh to death! It is only 45seconds!
This time, they are putting subjects name as their songs’ name. Songs like Psychiatry, Gynaecology, and Urology. LOL. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, look at this lyrics of the song Paediatrics-
You need a little patience,
When you trying to examine a child,
It is source of such frustration,
When you need them to keep still for a while,
They fiddle, they gargle, they giggle, they struggle, they wriggle,
No matter how many toys you give them,
They’ll cryyyyyy
God knows whyyyyyyy
You must employ cunning tactics,
when you do paediatrics,
just tryyyyyy,
when you have a little patient.
The video of paediatrics:
Love this song like shit. Haha. Enjoy!!! Sorry if I might get some of the words wrong in the lyrics because I’m doing it just by listening like this. The ‘Urology Clinic B’ is pretty fun too! See.. a fun way in studying medicine! Haha! Can’t stop laughing..

Avenged Sevenfold. Actually I’ve already watched their concert DVD in Long Beach that Wan passed to me long time ago. Am seriously impressed. Watch yourself to see my point.
One of the all time favourite. It was chosen as the song in the not too new Need For Speed Pro Street for quite some time now. If you ever played that game, then this song will sound familiar to you.
Unlike some band that couldn’t sing live as well, I gotta say that their live performances are actually better than album! They went Jakarta not long ago. Cis cis..
Some of my other favorites from them - sieze the day & a little piece of heaven.
Down here is another weird song. LOL. If you like the tune, remember to check out the lyrics. Damn funny! This whole song is a story. So, basically it is a 8 mins story telling time. It is just like how it stated in the movie, - ‘explicit content’. View at your own risk.

This would be my first album review. Well, the reason I write this is actually just to cover up my ‘empty’ non-blogging days. Hehe.. Well, I found it to be easy to write and it is fun to write about as well.
So, anybody of you who has an album or certain artists that you like and would like to recommend me, please do so! I love new music!
Back to ‘Bullet for my valentine’. Well, the name itself gives you a feeling that this band is cool. It was introduced to me by Wawan and it had since been the only album playing in my IPod Touch for the past few weeks. Bullet for My Valentine is a four-piece metalcore band from Wales. Before becoming famous, they covered songs by Metallica and Nirvana (both of them my fav during secondary school).
The album has some 13 songs, and definitely not for the weak hearts. Even thou I’m a med student, I still enjoy rock music and this is certainly one that you should not miss if you are into shouting and loud distortion. One thing that you can’t do is you can’t probably shout like them. LOL. The band remind me of the local Malaysian band ‘Love me butch’, but much stronger and sinister. I don’t really feel that this should be categorized under emo, but more like a mature kind of ‘complaining’.
Some of the recommended tracks: All these things I hate Tears don’t fall 10 Years Today
“…..Once more I say goodbye, to you. Things happen but we don’t really know why. If it’s supposed to be like this, why do most of us ignore the chance to miss?…. “

My mood is getting kinda shitty again.. Anyway, welcome to enjoy this song with me.
“… Hello world, hope you’re listening, forgive me if I’m young, for speaking out of turn, there’s someone I’ve been missing, I think that they could be, the better half of me, they’re in their own place trying to make it right, but I’m tired of justifying, so i say you’ll..
Come home, come home, cause I’ve been waiting for you, for so long, for so long, and right now there’s a war between the vanities, but all i see is you and me, the fight for you is all I’ve ever known, so come home…”
Well. The title of this post is actually the name of a song by Metallica. And yes I do listen to them, since long ago (even thou by saying it now I feel like I’m a bit outdated). Anyway, classics should be loved and remembered.
It is some of the words inside this particular song that I like..
HEAR ME And if I close my mind in fear Please pry it open
SEE ME And if my face becomes sincere Beware
HOLD ME And when I start to come undone Stitch me together
SEE ME And when you see me strut Remind me of what left this outlaw torn
Just sharing something that I like.. Would actually like to fill my blog here with some pictures but well, it is my 7th year here in the 10th most miserable place in the world (according to the recent survey which ranked Denmark as the country with the happiest people in the world) so I don’t really feel like taking any pictures outside.
Anyway, I’ll try my best to snap something these few days, my blog is getting too ‘wordy’ and hopefully more pictures are coming!

Watched the video “Here In My Home” from ingchia.blogspot.com (thought I read it from your site so should give you some benefits! Hope you wouldn’t mind).
After watching this video, I checked out the site (Malaysian Artistes for Unity)and was very impressed by what he wrote in the ‘About‘ page. Check it out dudes! Give some love to Malaysia!
You can also download the video there and Maybe put some banners in your blogs for promoting peace and unity! The fact that it is done in a ‘gotong-royong’ spirit makes it very special. And it is for free distribution, all you need to do is spread the words..
