back from there..

there are so many new things to worry about now, so i hope i can summarize my trip as short as possible. writing about 10 days trip in an entry is quite difficult for me.

1st chapter - start ur engine

i took off the exact day after my exam in the morning. i’m already in the train going to moscow in the afternoon and it wasn’t long before the first disaster happen. we just noticed that we had bought the ticket to the wrong destination. well. it is hard to explain how this can happen. the name of the place is the same with the name of the train station in moscow, wicked huh? to make the long story short, we paid the conductor for not kicking us out of the train with few hundred rubles. and we reach moscow as planned. first time sleeping in a train, not a bad experience but it was damn hot…

2nd chapter - berlin

this place is wicked. guys here look so stylish that i feel ashame of myself. well, the girls? hmn.. russians are better (looks only).. reach there around evening and it took sometimes for us to figure out how the ring road works. it is kinda cute to put a clock wise or anti-clock wise arrow for the ring. haha. the next day we headed for a tour out of berlin to oranienberg (i think the spelling is wrong but i’m lazy to check now). we reach this sacsenhausen concentration camp and the tour guide did a good job in explaining all the history of world war II and what happened there before and after the war. well.. it’s interesting, but a long story, so not gonna type all that i found out here.. conclusion = nice!

went to the commercial areas, spent time shopping here and there.. tried the chinese food over there and etc. kinda like this place.. not racist like in russia u see. by the way, the tour guide said that it is the most bizarre thing he had ever heard when i told him we are studying in russia. i guess the word russia kinda have a black terror with it. lolz. the third day was spent with a lot of sight seeing, like the brandenburg gate, the reichstag, the victoria’s column aka. pillar, check point charlie, some of the berlin walls (i found the story pretty ridiculous)…

Berlin

3rd chapter - prague

woke up in the middle of the night in the bus on my way to prague, and i saw this giant christmas tree towering over me, i got a shock of my life as i thought i was in hell looking at the leg of some big monsters. but it was snowing heavily and our bus is the only vehicle on the hill, kinda scary, but i’m mentally prepared for a survival trip. prague is nice, surprises me with a real big cathedral in the prague castle, and the buildings were built really close to each others. and some roads are really steep that i just feel like rolling down hill. it would be easier and more painless. visited the narodni museum, some shopping, the astronomical clock, the old town and basically it is a nice place to be for a few days. the place where i stayed was superb, nice apartment and vladi aka receptionist is kind in a weird way. plus, i tried the almond beer.

Prague

4th chapter - munich

the 2nd thing that spoil my holiday, is the smell of the roommates in this wombats hostel. iu.. i kenot understand why caucasian stinks.. yucks.. anyway, went to the place where they had their october feast, the bavaria statue, the old town hall and stuffs.. manage to visit the bmw factory for a 3 hours tour of how the car is produced, and took some photographs near the munich olympic stadium too. and here we travelled to hohenswangau to see the fairy tale castle built by king ludwig II. urm.. too bad we can’t take a proper picture of it, just manage to get the back, the sides, and part of the fronts..

Munich

5th chapter - zurich

the first thing i notice is, there are gays, the second thing that i notice is, they are damn friendly (i mean not onli the gays but others) and the 3rd thing i notice is, hey, that receptionist is smiling at me. muahahaha.. well, they are friendly, and i feel very comfortable in this place (except for the price of food). went to the medical museum and lepak on the street until 10 plus. luckily it was not that cold.. the city is pretty, but i don’t have much time here to really explore this place.. i guess i need to go back there again…

Zurich

6th chapter - stuttgart

i’m excited with this one, because i’m going to meet someone who i never meet for almost 5 years back. muahaha.. but before that, went to mercedes benz museum, and got lots of info about its history and stuffs.. they made the first automobile in the world. cold. i can’t help but think that actually a lot of thing started in germany, and it seems that the world is just spinning around this country. lol.. maybe it is just because i’m there most of the time during my trip. and at 8pm, i joined up with guo chang, my secondary school ketua disiplin.. muahaha.. for your information, he is studying automotive engineering.. working with daimler chrystler now.. erhem.. and got to stay with him for 1 night and manage to see where he lives and how is he for these past few years. i’m jealous, everything is ikea, and the place he stay looks absolutely cool. i hope i’m in his shoes. left my slipper there for souvenirs. muahaha..
